Should I take this personal?

I am working at my desk....I look over and see our "kitten" Krispy.
She is so adorable.
I heart her.
I give her the "kissy sound" with my pursed lips and she rolls over, licks her crotch and meows at me.
What the hey??
Is that a compliment?
So confused.

  1. Sounds like "kitten" Krispy is a kiss A$$. Actually she knew you weren't working at your desk...you were blogging. Cats know these things.

BTW, I got rid of the pesky puppy yapping and put a kitty on my blog..a working kitty.

  2. hAAAA :) you should take it personally that she loves you and that is her ways of saying " i am so comfortable w/ you that i will do this very private cleaning ritual in front of you"

  5. Of course it's a compliment.
You know how kitties are.... they love on their OWN terms. :-)

  6. I think that making any one or thing feel good is a compliment. I'm pretty sure that the kitten in question can't write you a mother's day poem; think of this as her pet owner's card.

  7. It cat language that means "I am happy. I think I wouldn't kill you in your sleep tonight." Which is a BIG compliment coming from a cat.

  8. I'm reading a book about cat body langueage and behavior, and I haven't come across this one. Perhaps it hasn't been decoded yet. Maybe she is making it up as she goes. Cats are so enigmatic, but don't you find them irresistible? The crazier they are, the more we enjoy them.
