Nothing quite gets under my skin like loose change banging around in the dryer. Soooo annoying. It takes forever to pull everything out and look for the culprits...then only to have to do it again and again, Because they hide when you open the door.
Now, what I would like to find in the dryer is some crisp green bills.
Those are a pleasure to find....silent and needed.
But are they ever there???? Not so much.
then again, I should be thankful for my dryer and the bits of change I find in there...oh it is hard to be thankful sometimes!!! arrgghhh.
Those bits of change add up. Vol Fan and I have been saving change for our 25th anniversary trip (7 years away) but we've managed to save over $2000.00. In change!
ReplyDeleteYes, crsip green Benjamins in the dryer would be GREAT! Or maybe a winning Lotto ticket?
ReplyDeleteI really don't want much. Just enough to pay off my mortgage. :-)
Bre pulled out a "new to her" pair of jeans to wear earlier this week and found a 5 dollar bill! I don't even know who handed them down to us, so it's found money for her. How come I never find $5 in my pockets?!
ReplyDeletem.o.h.'s friend just found a wallet in a box of odds and ends in his basement that had two thousand pounds (about double in Canadian $).He remembers having it on a trip to the UK and didn't realize he'd not spent it all. That was several years ago.
ReplyDeleteI wish.
I once found a 20 dollar bill tho'
whoo hooo
No money in my dryer because I make people empty their pockets first Suz.
You gotta train those peeps of yours.
:-))0
that is it...I am going through all my old jeans and jackets to see if I can find some cash....
ReplyDeleteWhat you found was some dollar seeds. Now you have to find a way to make them grow.
ReplyDeleteI have been collecting change out of my laundry for almost a year...I went to that machine that you dump in all out and it counts it and pays you. It does take out a percent! 102.00 dollars...change can become the green stuff!!!
ReplyDelete-sandy toes
I guess that means you should be hanging your clothes on a clothes line. :))
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog! I guess better change than the bubble gum and melted chapstick that I have had in mine!!!
ReplyDeleteI will be checking back! I am pretty new to this blogging thing but it is so much fun!
This is beside the point...but I hate listening to buckles and snaps banging around in the dryer, too. And one of my pet peeves? When people don't close the door to the laundry room and we have to listen to it.
ReplyDeleteI found a lone peso in my dryer the other day. ONE. LONE. PESO.
ReplyDeleteI would have traded for a penny.
I never find anything good in my dryer. Nothing.
