A Picture is worth a thousand....

Wonderful Hours watching Your favorite Softball Player....

Did I say a thousand hours???? More like a gazillion.
I heart my lil' playa!
The very top pic is Lo's first year in T-Ball. She was 5.
About 2 years later she told me that she did not want to ever get married in a wedding dress...instead she would wear her very fist softball uniform.
I saved it....

  1. And instead of the wedding march, it will be "Take Me Out to the Ball Game."

BTW, you are now on my blog roll, along with a welcome post on my WIXY blog.

    Have a super day.

  2. I just love this post! The wedding dress is classic! I was All-State, All-District and full scholarship for fast pitch softball...so I love this post!

  3. Great pictures. I could see my son wanting to get married in his soccer uniform one day. I love watching my kids play sports.

  4. You have to be so darn proud of her. I love the pictures, she is beautiful, and such an athlete.

Just think of the money you are saving on a dress? Save all her uniforms...she might want a choice when the time comes.

  5. She is gorgeous, and I love how healthy and strong she is, in addition to being very pretty (a powerful combination). You are giving her "roots and wings," as they say, and it's visible in her strength and self-awareness. Good job, Mom! Those will be some great wedding photos...

  6. If she gets married around Valentine's Day, the red uniform theme would be stunning!

Can you believe how quickly they grow up? That realization has made my week a bit melancholy. I'm sure I'll get over it the next time she asks for money.....hahahaha!

  8. Yeah, I'm with grandma j. You could concoct some kind of whacky patchwork dress made of all her old uniforms. Ok, maybe not....

She's gorgeous, just like her mommy!
