I picked Linds up from school one day last week, she hopped in the front seat and pulled a slip of paper out of her pocket. She smiled and showed me what she had and said:
"Look, I've got a pocket full of sunshine"
I just don't know if this girl could be anymore clever, cute or funny. If we did not share the same DNA, I would try to kidnap her.
There are times when God gives our children enough wisdom to cut through what we think is important, but what He thinks is trivial. Many times it takes a child to lift a seemingly heavy burden. that pocket full of sunshine more than likely outshone any worry you might have had at the time.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this with us.
She sounds like a treasure. Great illustration...both the cartoon and the way you paid attention to it. God bless you!
ReplyDeleteI think you should market those. Who wouldn't want to buy a pocket full of sunshine??
ReplyDeleteToo cute!
What a cutie pie!!
ReplyDeleteThat kid is just too cute!! Lex's one buddy hates that song, so we tend to sing it to him a LOT. Yeah, we're jerks, but we're jerks TOGETHER, so it's actually a bonding activity! ;-)
ReplyDeleteso funny!
ReplyDeleteShe sounds wonderful! Can I borrow her for a while??
ReplyDeleteDon't you love it when kids have stuff like this? It just cuts right through whatever "crap" we grown-ups happen to be going through.
ReplyDeleteGive her a hug from me.
:-)
Aw... so cute!! :-) :-)
ReplyDeleteThey just melt your heart, don't they. Just when I think my two couldn't possibly get any cuter, it happens...
that is SUCH a cute idea!
