Blonde Moment #8

This is number 8 because I may have been around that age when this FIRST happened to me.

When I was a kid, I apparently had some allergy issues that we did not know were happening.

I would get dark circles under my eyes. I recall being told this by people....family members, teachers, friends parents.

"Suz, are you ok? You have circles around your eyes"

This always perplexed me.

I would go to the mirror and look for the circles. I would never find the circles.

I would start to wonder if I had bad eyesight. I could not see the circles.

Seriously, this is what I thought I must look like.

I was always looking for those little circle shapes around my eyes....

I won't tell you how old I was when I finally realized it was ONE BIG circle that I had!!!

  2. HA HA HA Suz.... That's okay...When my Mama would get something in her eye, she'd always say, "It feels like an elephant in my eye." That was a puzzlement to a little girl who kept wondering how that elephant got in her eye.... HAR HAR HAR

You are a pretty blonde though!!!!
    Hugs,

  9. when my grandpa worked in the ship yards they workers used to tell the young lads like him to go and get ' a long stand in the yard'. After twenty minutes of puzzling in the freezing cold they made the connection.

  10. Ha!! We used to pass a sign on the interstate that read Highway 299 3/4. I could not figure out why they didn't just name the road Highway 300!

  11. I'm not blonde, but I used to have alergies that made my eyes itch. I would rub and rub until they hurt...then freak out when ever one of my aunts would tell me my eyes were blood shot. I'd look in the mirror and never did see the blood.

You were such an adorable little girl.

I'm also a member of the Former Siamese Cat Owners Club:) BUT, my hair was NEVER that cute:/

  20. I think you are stunningly beautiful : ) even if you have circles! Those little ones are very funny. I wish you would have used a marker to make them on your face because that would have been so clever!

I want a baby. Could you please talk to Gary about it? I will send you his number! I think you would be a GREAT convincer!
