Can you guess what I discovered this year?
Yep.
Eyeshadow, lipstick AND hairspray!
I can't imagine the amount of eyeshadow it took for this look....
Seems someone was looking for a career at Barnum and Baily Circus...
Making a production out of everything since 2008
I think you were totally rockin' that look!
ReplyDeletebut look how beautiful you are... really. i can still see YOU behind all that goop :)
ReplyDeleteBarnum and Baily Circus is the last thing I thought of when I first saw this picture.
ReplyDeleteIs that you? I think it's a cute picture!
ReplyDeleteBarnum & Bailey???? Puh-leeze. You were, and ARE, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWas this a glamour shot photo? I am digging the big white earrings. To finish it off you just needed to flip that collar up!!
ReplyDeleteNot glamour shots...I never did those. This was through my cosmotology college (fitting right?)
ReplyDeleteI think I had that same hair cut for a while. I was a pro with the curling iron!
ReplyDeleteLOL! You're still a cutie! And you had the "perfect feather" going w/ that hair!
ReplyDeleteThat pic is a hoot! But guess what...evvvverybody was rockin' that same look, so it's not like you stood out or anything! LOL
ReplyDeleteSo is hairspray 'out'? It sounds like it when I see those makeover shows and they make fun of the girl that uses hairspray. I like my hair to stay put once I fiddle with it and get it lookin' decent for the day. That's what hairspray is for!
But hey..who am *I* kidding.. I'm not exactly a fashion'y kinda girl anyway. Pardon my fumes while I spray my 'do' down! LOL
Hey Girlie, You are gorgeous---no matter what you wear or what you look like. That was the style back then...
ReplyDeleteOH how I remember all of that make-up and the big hair... Yipes!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Circa 1986? I'm sure you were the "it" girl, that was the style! Yes it seems a little "clowny" now, but so what Farrah, deal with it!!!
ReplyDeleteLook at how cute you look!...and with that perfect pose!
ReplyDeleteYou look like a total diva! I love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to see how the "fads" change through the years. You are and were really pretty and it's a joy to know you through your blog - you always make me smile! Have a nice Easter.
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful!! You got the look down pat.
ReplyDeleteMuch love from NJ,
Sue
xoxo
I really like the David Bowie jacket too! You look hot!
ReplyDeleteAside from the rockin' hair do, and all the eyeshadow, you look EXACTLY the same. I hate you! ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt's reading all those retro magazines. Thank goodness you missed out on the the thick black eyeliner that Cher wore.
ReplyDeleteYou are beautiful with or without the fluff!
are you hoping to inspire us all to dig out the old photos? I must get the scanner working
ReplyDeleteEverything was bigger and brighter in the 80's. I personally love 80's music. Good times, Good times!
ReplyDelete...I get a kick out of my old photos too...I never learned to use make up...probably because all my friends were guys...and it would have run during karate class.
ReplyDeleteDid you have that photo taken at Glamour shots?
ReplyDeleteI totally thought this was Glamour shots! And you? rockin' that look as Hawt baby!
ReplyDeleteI popped over from Woodys site to take a peek....you have a great blog.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to coming back!
T
At least you weren't wearing a neon glow in the dark sweater and a banana clip in your hair... :-D
ReplyDeleteI was 10 then. If I would have seen you on the street, I would have DIED for you to talk to me because you were that cool. Oh my word. Look at the coolness just seeping out of the picture. Unbelievable....
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, Suz.
I had that exact hairstyle in junior high!
ReplyDeleteOHHH so cute!
ReplyDeleteI miss blue eye shadow. :(
Not.
I think I saw your 1985 clone the other day. How did we think it was beautiful then, but laugh now?
ReplyDeleteIt's Donna Mills eyes! I used to have them too.
ReplyDeleteYou sexy THANG!!!!! LOVE it!
