Our Desk
I tend to spend a good bit of time here.....paying bills....checking calendars...filing papers....blogging...The Desk Companion...always a DOG here too...it is a toss up who wins the ol' ottoman....
first come first sit. Today, it is Cocoa.

Oh... i feel like i haven't seen your desk forever... one of my favorite parts of GS was watching your slide show! i know... it was fun guessing who might get into "trouble" but the slide show topped even that!!

ReplyDeleteMy Hayley and Kommit and my "tails", too. No matter where I am in the house, my doggies follow me. Too bad they can't help when I'm in the laundry room!

Your desk is so neat! If I put mine on the computer it would be declared a Federal Disaster Area.

I really need Mrs. Clean to move in here for just a while... You can see my desk--but just barely.. Besides my computer and keyboard, I have some extra hard drives, an extra set of speakers, my desk fan, some pictures, some lotion, a radio, a box of kleenix, a stapler, some scotch tape, a cup full of pens, pencils, highlighters, scissors, and markers), some sticky pads, some chap stick, a coaster for my drink, and who knows what else!!!!! And that is only one of my desks.. I have another one to the right of this desk. This one contains alot of folders, some notebooks, some albums, and other things. To the left of that desk is a table which contains my printer. AND--I use a TV table on the left side for writing and whatever else ends up there.. Do I need help???? Really???????
ReplyDeleteAnd if you think I have alot of stuff, you should see George's side... HA HA... This Computer room is truly where we live. We have a TV in here and about 5 small bookcases FULL of stuff. It's livable --but looks junky!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI should take a picture of my desk but right now it has: the bowl from my mid-day cereal (Raisin Bran), a water glass, a plastic flower that my daughter was harrassing the dog with, all the tax receipts (I finally finished Turbo Tax last night - YAY!!!!), and assorted other papers. NEEDLESS TO SAY it's nowhere as tidy as yours!

ReplyDeleteDemented! Oh, I'm getting ahead of myself. I'm not sure who said this, but someone said,"An orderly desk is the sign of a demented mind". Not me mind you. My desk is really very neat too. Ahhhahahahahahahahaha.
ReplyDeleteFor years my dog would lay on my feet while I worked at the desk on the computor...now that she is gone I miss those days. I love your built in desk!

if your desk was mine, i'd have little matching boxes for the 'things' on show. in those open baskets, tch. just saying. not a criticism but it would be so much more er 'neater', streamlined.......
okay, i'll just take my duster and go now.

That's where Dudley lays too when I'm on the computer! He can never be too far away..he might miss something good!
