ReplyDeleteI always wonder why they think we would want to know the details of other people's love lives. I DON'T WANT TO KNOW! It's PRIVATE, as in "private life," "private parts," etc. I don't want to share about mine, either, just for the record; who cares? It's beautiful, but it's PERSONAL. I hope we don't start hearing about bathroom habits next...not that they are the same, but again, it's a private matter!
ReplyDeleteOne of the late night talk show hosts (I want to say Jimmy Kimmel?) made fun of the People cover by putting a black man (Jeez! My memory sucks!! Maybe Emmett Smith?) on the cover with the headline, "I'm Black!" It was so funny! I think there was a collective, "DUH!!" heard 'round the world when that came out!
