Willy Nilly Friday-I'm a dog watching Ninja!

Joining Tanya for Willy Nilly Friday; sharing 5 randoms, pics or what-have-ya's.

Did you miss me last week?
This time last Friday we were in Austin, TX.
Vacation is fun. Vacation is exhausting.

While on a boat tour I saw this graffiti and thought: ME TOO!
Ninjas wear  black. I wear black.
Ninjas like sharp objects. I like shanking people with sharp objects.

Our flight leaving Houston was delayed several hours and then rerouted due to weather issues.
Not the shortest route from Houston to Fort Myers, but we made it safely.

Getting home at 3am from vacation is the opposite of fun.
I was able to sleep in, but the Coach had an early morning meeting.
Someone around here has to be responsible…so glad it's not me!

Speaking of being responsible. My InLaws are traveling this week and we are dog sitting the gang of Labs. Actually, when we let all the dogs out, it's more of a herd.
Here is a video I sent to her the other night during 'quiet time'
When a certain little *someone* is full of energy and barking his head off, I'll go back to this video and just *sigh*.

Dog hair.
'nuff said!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
Watch out for those hairy sharp-object yielding ninjas!!

Around Roanoke

  1. i DID miss you! oh i loved the video, it's a dog party! it's so cute how little toby is quietly playing while the others are totally out like they stayed up too late! they look like my boys after a slumber party...toby must have been the one that crashed out early ha! wow, that ninja grafitti is pretty cool, wonder how they did that? were they sneaky about it like a ninja or did the city let them? hmmm...have a great weekend chicka and thank you for linking!

  2. i wonder how many times i have comment : you crack me up!!! ??? can you figure that out for me? if it is not ALL OF THEM ten rest assured that i have THOUGHT it, just haven't wanted to be so repetitive!!! i could hardly miss you with all the exchanging of great photos!!! but I AM GLAD YOU ARE HOME safe & sound. do you think next time you could NOT have travel issues???? <3

  3. You should really be at ground level the next time you visit Tennessee. I'm glad you had a safe trip home, even if you did have to take the scenic route.

  4. such cute pups! i've got 4 monsters with me at all times. love 'em, though.

  5. 5 gorgeous dogs-we've babysat three a few times and them with our own puny little guy was quite enough, so 5 guests, impressed.

  6. Love the video and love hearing your voice. That's the first time I've heard it... Interesting how we 'think' that someone else talks.... Interesting!!!!

Looks like you flew almost right over the top of us... Did you see us WAVING?????? ha ha ... Glad you got home safely --despite that big storm all around.

Enjoy all of the furry babies at your house.

  7. Yikes, that was quite the detour... Glad you made it home safe and sound and got to get some rest the next day. :-) Your herd of dogs is awfully cute - I can't imagine what it would be like with them going full speed ahead though... Have a great weekend!

  8. I bet you had a great vacation! What fun! Sorry you are babysitting the labs. Especially after jetlag! :-)

  9. Hi Busy Bee Suz,
1, That's one neat sign on the bridge!
    2. I remember when flying was that was a long time ago.
    3. Growing up and being responsible is grossly over rated.
    4. Don't your in laws know what kennels are for?
    5. Don't your in laws know what kennels are for?

Have a great weekend vacuuming the dog hair, sneeze! Tom The Backroads Traveller

    1. Tom, we don't believe in boarding our dogs…kinda like putting our kids in prison. :)

  10. You are a GREAT relative, to keep that many dogs for them! How do your two (and the cats) like all of that added activity?

  11. Suz, you are full of surprises. Who would have thought you would shank people with sharp objects?

  12. I'm scared of shanking Ninja ladies but hey anybody that will care for a pack of labs can't be all bad....:)

  13. Dogs on video. Go dog, go! You crack me up, Ninja Lady.

  14. I will send you one of my 5 year olds. His biggest desire is to be a ninja when he grows up.

  15. something about ninja ... that word is just so cool. makes you want to get out there & kick a bit. ha. ha!! ( :

  16. oooh, i enjoyed your post . . Probably way more than you enjoyed your "vacation" - NOW, that sounded like you could use a vacation - to recover from that episode . . . I hope, when you arrived, the weather allowed you some fun. (It sure rained a LOT here . . and we received our weather from there . . yikes!!) I LOVE your title "Dog Watching Ninja" - makes me think you got a super Fun Spirit . . . Happy Week to YOU!!!

  17. That's a lot of dog! I am jealous....had to put mine to sleep and am dogless :(

  18. You are a better woman than I. Never. Happen.

  19. I'm laughing at Lisa's comment to send you her 5 year old!!!!!
    Love the doggies. So sweet.
