I especially love saying it. Twa Twa Twa.
I brought some toile into our home this week.
One of my family members unlovingly asked:
What is that? Are those pilgrims?
I suppose not everyone appreciates toile.
{Darn commoners.}
Making a production out of everything since 2008
They do look a little pilgrimish. Can't wait to see where you've added it. : )
ReplyDeleteLOL Hope you and yours have a very happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteMore of a paisley person:)
ReplyDeleteI do too! Always have.
ReplyDeleteI can see the Pilgrim connection. Hmm, does that mean I'm a darn commoner?!
ReplyDeleteToo funny! I love toile, too - we have yellow & blue toile curtains (I made them) in our master bath. It's very FRENCH - Vive la France!
ReplyDeleteI love Toile. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love it! My niece has eggplant (deep purple) and cream toile in her bed/bath - her mom made all the curtains, pillows etc. to match. It's very pretty. Can't wait to see what you have been doing. Does cat hair show up on toile???
ReplyDeleteYes...love it..in many colors. I have seen it in MANY projects. Looking forward to seeing the completion of yours.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric, Suz.... But--I can understand why kids don't have an appreciation for it. They will when they get older!!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
Yeppers! I love toile...
ReplyDeleteI do so love the toile. I do, I do, I do!
ReplyDeleteIf you want to get really fancy, you can pronounce it like the french do..
ReplyDelete"twall" :-)
Ha! I can soooo see my kids (or husband) asking the same thing. ;)
ReplyDeleteClearly WE (the moms of the world) have to carry the Sophistication Flag...
Sigh...
