Gluttony at its best.

Christmas eve at Casa De Busy Bee.

Picnik collage christmas eve 2009The Italian feast on Christmas Eve..YUMMY….Antipasto…ravioli w alfredo, lasagna. Desserts out the ying yang. That can be uncomfortable.

With all this food I have ingested…I need a good old fashioned detox.

Christmas day seems to be very quiet around here…and I like it.

We slept in…till around 7:15. And only got up because some pooches were ready to pee on the foliage see what Santa brought them. Well, earlier Cocoa decided at 4:30 am, she would go check out her stocking. Naughty girl!! Lo Linds and dogs Christmas 2009

It was very hot and humid when we woke up Christmas morning…such a bummer about that nonsense.

It is so nice when you ask for something and you get it….Like a full color set of sharpies for Lo!!! P1030997

or a snuggie for Linds.

To be honest…I am thinking of investing in one of those snuggie’s for me. (the kids size) it is pretty darn comfy…and the pockets are just the right size for my tv guide and remote vitamins and water bottle.

There was to be no gifts exchanged for the adults…but Coach broke this rule. I was so mad at him. I yelled, I fussed, I hit him too…but really, I think he enjoyed all of this!! I will show a picture of my gift on Monday (it is B day) yes…I am all a-buzz about it.

If everyone had a Christmas half as nice as mine…well this would be a world full of happy people!!!

Bring on 2010!!!!

  1. Merry Christmas! Your Christmas eve food looks amazing. We eat lutefisk and lefse here...

And seeing you all in shorts, by the swimming pool, sitting outside??

    We are in a blizzard...have had over 6 inches of snow...wind blowing...boots, warm coats...what a difference!

Have a great holiday weekend. ~Natalie

  9. Sounds perfectly wonderful Suz! Such happiness and joy in just being together. Good for you. Even though we were snowed in and couldn't travel as planned, we had a wonderful day just playing in the snow and being together. Happy Saturday! XX Lori

  10. That big lab reminds me of mine...we had to put him to sleep last Friday :( The saddest part of Christmas was clearning the table and putting the scraps in the compost instead of his bowl.

    Happy new Year my Friend,

  11. Ohhhh the food looks amazing, BB! What a FEAST! And I love all the happy smiling faces! The snuggie, well OK I need one now. NEED.

I broke the "spending limit" for hubby's gifts by 200%, so he got mad at me and went out to buy me rushed gifts that of course made no sense, LOL!

He now has a list of things I always enjoy as presents so he'll never be out of sorts again.

    Mens! LOL!

    Merry Holidays!

My girl got a snuggie too... a PINK one! But at least it's cold enough to use it here. No hot humid day for us... it was our first white Chrimstmas in 83 years! : )

  19. I had to look thru a million posts to find one I did NOT comment on. I think I am too early for your tomorrow post. So I will have to either come back in 34 minutes OR just come back tomorrow.

I am so glad your Christmas was special. I love your family. I am about to move in. Go open the gate!
