I have not played tag in many, many years, but here goes!

1)I can still do a cartwheel (one handed) a round off and a handstand.
Sometimes, even when I am home alone I do them all. Just cause I still can.
(I am usually sore afterwards)


2)I was a girl scout leader for 7 years. Yes, parents trusted me to take their kid away on weekends for trips and camping.(with fire) I was really good at it too. ;)

3)I love to eat salad for any meal. Even breakfast.

4)I was so thin as a child. When I was 14 a Dr. asked me if I threw up after a meal.
Noone ever asks me that anymore.

5)I am afraid someone will break into our house while we are sleeping. So I keep a very sharp fillet knife under the mattress on my side. I used to also keep mace under my pillow when Jeff traveled, but it expired.
The joke used to be if he came home unannounced, I would shank him then blind him.

6)I think I take great pictures and I am not afraid to tell people this.

7)I am meticulous for keeping party rsvp records. Even for the kids birthdays. If someone does not show that was supposed to, or vice versa, I know. I remember.
I also have this for Christmas cards. If you don't send me a card for 2 years, you are off the list.
I still like you, but you don't get a card.
I know, it is a sickness.

It is hard to pick only 7 for this so I let my girls pick. Forrizzle.

They have their favorites already.

Grandma J They both talk so highly of this funny Texan. Lo is very proud to have been born in the Lonestar State. So, they have quite the bond already. Plus, she is L & L's kind of humor.

Jason Oh, my girls like funny people, but if they are gay, well then forget it. They LOVE that. Although you did drop the "F" bomb recently...but I suppose it came from one of your students so that is ok. (?)

Katie leaves the best comments too....and bonus, she has cute boys and that adorable boxer to boot. It is a win, win for them.

Dawn was also a girl scout leader with me for some time. If she had her way, we would still be doing it....I must post sometime about all our shananigans. Like the night we slept over in Sea World and at bedtime an employee there was going to kick out the laughing girls....that would be the two leaders. :) Yeah, we could not control ourselves.

ChiTown Girl We took our girls on a surprise summer vacation a few years back...to Chicago. It was a blast, the kids love that city. And they both learned that Chicago is NOT a state...and next time bring more cash to hand out to the homeless.

Rebeckah Is just a sweet person. Always leaving the nicest comments and plus she is starting to use reusable shopping bags!!!! Yeah for her!!!! Next, she will be composting. (right?)

Clippy Mat What a great name. A wicked sense of humor. So funny, and she is learning to line dance. How cool is that. When the line dance classes are over, she will start break dancing. (right?) My girls have some sort of obsession with that country just north of us too.....

It's a Dogs Life.

I Love, Love, Love Cesar Millan.

The man is a genius. He has such a gift with animals and people.

The whole family enjoys watching him rehab dogs that would otherwise be destroyed.

The transformations that he has produced is mind blowing to me.

I like to think that he could be helpful to parents of bad kids too. :0

He is so funny in his explanations to people in his heavy Mexican accent...and so full of common sense.

Jeff and I crack up watching him try to "train" people.

Did I mention how much I love him?

The national geographic channel is running a two hour special on the rehabilitation of Michael Vick's pit bulls.

Ugghhh. Just typing his name makes me shiver. What a loser.

I watched this special through tears. I knew I would.

I am not really a fan of Pitt bulls. They do have a bad reputation.

But I have seen some good ones, and have read about people having them as "perfect pets".

I think every animal deserves a chance to have a good life.

Here is a story about Cesar and his right hand dog Daddy.

He uses Daddy all the time to help other dogs because Daddy has a high tolerance level to all sorts of dogs.

Cesar, as well as many volunteers are working really hard to give the rescued dogs a chance at a normal healthy life.

It is a great show, and if you love animals it will touch your heart.

Jeff likes to think of himself as the "dog whisperer" in our house.

But really ,we know who Cocoa listens to!!

My little Hip Hop, Jazz, Salsa girl

Linds had a dance event is weekend. Her instructor is always getting the girls (and boys) out to dance at community events. It is great publicity to the dance school and good practice for the kids.
Lindsay just started Salsa and Jazz/Hip hop about 4 weeks ago.
But has done regular hip hop for about 4 years.
She has some great rhythm for a little white girl from the burbs.
She does get all her moves from her mama. ;)

Linds is the one in the front left wearing shorts and a tank top.

Jeff and I were happy to see her finally in the front row.

After all these years...usually she is stuck in the back and she is usually the smallest.

I mentioned this and Jeff said: "yeah, four thousand dollars later, she makes it to the front row....."

I have no idea who the crazy woman was who screamed at the end of the dance...she sounds familiar though.

It was hotter than heck too.....when is fall going to arrive in Florida???

When did the Greeters at walmart stop Greeting?
We have 2 different super walmarts in town. I don't shop there regularly, perhaps one time a month.
The greeters generally don't say anything to me. Not even a smile.

Now, granted the greeters are from a different country. I won't name names, but it is way south of me and it starts with a H and ends with and I.

Even a few years ago, it was retirees greeting and they actually greeted me.
They smiled. It was nice.

Sam Walton must be turning over in his grave with all the problems WalMart has had lately....such a shame.

Is this "anti-greeting" all across the country???

A funny joke my Mom told me a few years ago...
I am terrible at repeating jokes, lets see how I do typing them.
I will leave out the cuss words.

A Mother walks into walmart. She has 2 fussy kids ages 2 and 6. She is talking really bad in a disrespectful tone to her kids.
Generally not being a nice person.
As she passes the walmart greeter, the greeter says hello and smiles.
The Mother barely notices her and keeps on with her filthy mouth.
The walmart greeter asks the Mother: "How old are your Twins?"
The Mother makes an angry face and says: "Crazy, they are not twins. Clearly they are different ages"
The greeter says: "Oh, I just didn't think you could get someone to sleep with you twice."

Thanks Mom. I think of this every time I walk into walmart.

Gotta go to walmart and see who will ignore me this time. :)
Oh, you know I have my shopping bags already in the trunk....
