you put them in a beautiful vase, set them on the counter and say Oh, so pretty.
I slice one a day and add it to my water.
::OR::
When life hands you lemons.....
you put them in a beautiful vase, set them on the counter and say a day later:
Damn, they came with &^%$#@! fruit flies!!!!!
Then you dump the beautiful vase full of lemons into your compost.
What is wrong with this picture?
Yep, NO !?$%$# fruit flies.
Oye.
Is that recycled plastic?????
ReplyDeleteI can't remember how many times I've bought fresh lemons and they got moldy within days. Always ticks me off...
ReplyDeleteHa, ha! Well, the lemons in the vase looked really good while they lasted. The plastic lemon juice container doesn't have quite the same aura of good taste. But no bugs is always a plus.
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness... Those were pretty lemons. Bet those darned fruit flies enjoyed them... Gads!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry... I'd take NO FRUIT FLIES too... ha
Hugs,
Betsy
Those pesky little buggers!
ReplyDeleteLOL~~~~~
ReplyDeleteoh that last picture cracks me up! only YOU would put hat plastic lemon juice in your beauiful jar. but i think... you are supposed to keep that in the fridge :)
A good veggie wash will rid the dratted flies. Do you not have lemon trees?
ReplyDeleteI think you need to go to HobLob and get some fake fruit...no flies and it doesn't go bad. Love the vase. : )
ReplyDeleteargggh, fruit flies are back with spring!
