I realized today that I've turned into my pill popping Mother.
Granted, they are mostly supplements....But that is a lot to swallow, even if half of them are chewable.
Gulp.
I need to start saving up for one of these:
Are you a pill popper chewer too?
XOXO
Lightweight. ; )
ReplyDeleteYou should see my counter when I have to refill the pill holders weekly. Bottles bottles bottles. But like you, mostly supplements.
CH made the comment that I take too much, so I asked him which one he wanted me to stop taking. His response: "Whatever you do, don't stop taking the Black Cohosh!" :)
ReplyDeleteFIVE. I have five vitamin and mineral supplements, actually, pretty good huh? :)
ReplyDeleteI take three different supplements, cranberry, probiotic and black cohosh. If I had to choose only one it would be the black cohosh! I'm about to start taking a multi-vitamin, too. So I'm up to four.
ReplyDeleteYou need to do what my inlaws did - get a lazy Susan and "spin the wheel of pills". :-) So far I only take three vitamin supplements, but I'm thinking about adding something for joints. Anything you can recommend? Looks like you have experience... ;-)
ReplyDeletethat is one fancy-schmancy pill holder! i don't take enough to even have a pill holder (and some of them are so PRETTY!) not yet anyway :)
ReplyDeleteYes I am and I like that giant pill complex!
ReplyDeleteI have a weekly flip-top one right now but I get so annoyed when it's time to refill it. I need a monthly one like that, although everyone would laugh at me. Maybe I'll hide it.
Nope. The only one I take seems to be missing from your cache. A probiotic.
ReplyDeleteHoly Smokes Batman! I take a calcium/D so I don't get brittle bones...but that's it...I try to eat all my vitamins in food. I had to have a pill holder for handing out chemo and all the assorted pills my daughter took for 2.5 years...that cured me on being unorganized!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday!
YES---we both take lots of supplements and vitamins.. Have for years!!!! The 1000 gram Vit. C pills seem to keep us from getting a cold (at least most of the time).. That is good!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe don't take much prescription meds --although GE takes some for his painful back problems.
Hugs,
Betsy
I started popping pills before I could ever walk, so they tell me. I guess my Grandma kept all her pills on the counter. I crawled up there and helped myself. I guess that explains a lot.....
ReplyDeleteThat looks like about the same number of supplements that we take. I blame that on my Dad -- he's always taken a lot of supplements and will be 101 in August. I guess they work.
ReplyDeleteWhen you get our age, you will need an industrial strength pill box!
ReplyDeleteI don't take any. I'm sure there are things I should be taking. Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteWhoa, now that is a great pill container. I've never seen one so big!
ReplyDeleteI probably should consider supplements, but I'm lucky if I can remember to pop a calcium pill once in awhile.
I do a monthly box. What a timesaver--with the iron supplement and the daily aspirin and the vitamin and the melatonin . . .
ReplyDeletei forget to take my pills, lol
ReplyDeleteYes, I have a little box on the bathroom counter. I start (& end) my day with those pills! Midlife...it's not for sissies!
ReplyDeleteLOL Oh yes I am. I even have an embarassing number of pills bedside. I've turned into my Granny!
ReplyDeleteI only have to take one pill a day and couldn't even remember whether or not I had taken it so had to get one of those little days of the week container, put one in each slot. If the slot was empty... I took the pill. LOL Sheesh. I am going to be in a world of hurt as I age and need to take multiple pills per day.
