Isn’t team work so much better than solo work?
I was easily able to convince my family to help with the window washing on labor day. I got them started, then retreated to the grocery store. {Labor laws require me to feed them 3 squares}
They worked well as a team. {Laborer, Laborer, & Quality control.}
They conquered all {22} of the windows/glass doors facing the pool area.
That cuts down my work. Tremendously.
Can’t we have labor day quarterly?
Whoever said living in a glass house was low maintenance?
Oh, no one EVER said that?
Makes sense, unless you spew glass cleaner out of your nose. Which I think would burn tremendously.
OMG that would burn! Yeah that they did the work!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if all of you labored on Labor Day. I hope it was a good one anyway.
ReplyDeleteTeamwork EXCELLENT!
ReplyDeletelol, I love how Coach, in a few of the pics, is just standing tehre watching Linds and Lo... Too funny! Nice looking windows, Suz! :D
ReplyDeleteI love team work! I'm gonna teach mine to windows next!
ReplyDelete<><
21 windows. Be still my heart!
ReplyDeleteI love the kind of team work where they work and I photograph them;)
ReplyDeletei was going to say that i thought it looked like coach was supervising! those girls are great. even if you do have to feed them on occasion. i wish you woulda called me... i woulda met you at the grocery store!
ReplyDeleteBribe 'em with a good meal at the end--that's a great strategy.
ReplyDeleteWell---it looks like your family really 'labored' on Labor Day... I thought that was against the law!!!! ha
ReplyDeleteGreat work though.... And YES---glass does take work--unless you are like me and just let them stay dirty!!!! ha
Hugs,
Betsy
Team work is great! It all turned out beautifully. Give them all a piece of chocolate!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL Somehow my kids think it means sitting on the beach and creating as many dirty towels asp ossible. Must show them this post!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I'm always telling my kids (when they are doing their chores) "Why do you think Daddy and I HAD you in the first place?!" Of course, they give me smarmy looks, and are old enough to know I'm being a total smart aleck... :)
ReplyDeletePS: Them windows sure do look sparkly clean!
Wow - - that's a BUNCH of work. Praise God for everyone helping. That is a wonderful family you have! I guess you could have said you were their personal trainer for the day - - - - and you had some new exercise to work different muscle groups!
ReplyDeleteTeam work is good when you are the boss! lol
ReplyDeleteOh yeah...you're such a meanie to make them wash some glass. (not) : )
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I totally laughed out loud at the thing about glass cleaner out the nose. It wouldn't be pretty.
Working together can be a lot of fun...glad you were able to convince your family to play along. :)
ReplyDeleteToday I know that you are one lucky sweet mamma!
ReplyDeletehehe!! yes, you must feed your workers :)
ReplyDeletei can imagine that spewing window cleaner out of your nose, although useful, would not be very pleasant!
Cute photos of Busy Bee's Chain Gang!! Patrick is my window washer and yup, it sure does help! I LoVE clean windows.
ReplyDeleteLove the teamwork, just be careful those windows are not too clean. You do not want someone to run into them!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a slave driver, a brilliant one!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great idea to have a quarterly family work day. It builds character, bonds, etc.
ReplyDeleteI'll take the "quality control" job!
Splendid! When is your team free to come do my house? :-D
ReplyDelete22 windows? *passes out*
