My joints are a' jumping!!

A while ago I was being a big bragger and shared with you my love of Move Free and how it singlehandedly repaired my non functioning shoulder.

Well, a few months ago I noticed that my knees were needing some attention. I actually thought about purchasing a new right knee, but my amazon prime didn't offer them.

I was having serious issues with crouching/squatting down. You know how it's nice to be able to tie your shoe, pet the dog, or pick up something off the floor? yeah, I'm a fan of that too. Well, actually the getting DOWN wasn't the issue….it was the getting back up. I had to use BOTH hands and pull myself back up using a wall, chair, countertop or a human. It wasn't fun and it worried me.
I'm too darn young to feel that darn old.

Two months ago I was at the vitamin store picking up some stuff and I asked the ever so friendly manager if there was something better than the Move Free for my failing knees.
He said: IF you can get past the taste,  THIS IS THE BEST STUFF.
Joint Vibrance

I have issues with bad tasting stuff….so I wondered; can I get past it?
He said if I didn't like it, I could return it within 30 days for store credit, so I figured I'd give it a try.

Turns out, not so bad tasting at all. I mix a scoop with about 4 oz of OJ, some ice, a couple of ounces of water and 1/2 a banana in our ninja. I even add in my protein powder and some flax seed because that makes me feel super duper good about myself. HA. {it's best absorbed on an empty stomach} You can make up your own concoction-this just works for me because it's easy. I've added apples and strawberries when I feel like fancying things up.
I noticed a difference within 3 weeks. I'm not kidding.
This stuff is magic.

Friday I had my first session with a personal trainer at my old people gym {something I've talked about doing for years} and I was doing squats with weights, lunges with weights, you name it with weights and I had NO ISSUES at all. I was all over that gym like a freakin' ninja toddler. I was absolutely impressed with myself and my new knees.

Ok, my muscles were in majorly bad shape for a few days, but that was to be expected. My joints were/are feeling NO pain.

If you have any joint weakness/issues, I'd give this a try. It's not cheap (about $50 a month) but it has made all the difference in the world for Suzanne!!!

No, I was not compensated for sharing this information with you-I've never been compensated for any of my wonderful advice…see, some things in life ARE free!!!

XOXOX

Willy Nilly Friday-Lazy, not so lazy.

Joining Tanya and friends to share 5 willy nilly thoughts, pics, what nots….

1)
I cleaned out my lazy Susan last week. Before I share that miraculous event, I'd like to share a bone I'm picking with whoever named it a lazy Susan. Why Susan? Ok, I'm not even Susan! I'm Suzanne, but my MIL is Susan and she isn't lazy.
I'm petitioning that we rename it lazy Sam? lazy Lance?
I took everything out and cleaned the whole shebang and labeled clear containers. I even found some lost items in the back that I didn't realize I'd lost.

Even if you can't tell it looks better, just appease me and say it's the most beautifully organized
lazy Lance you've seen!

2) Everyone exited about Thanksgiving? Have you planned your menu? It would be overkill if I already had the table set….right?
Just checking.

3)
I realized this week that every single morning, I brush my teeth and my hair at the same time. {not with the same brush!} Is that weird or normal? I'm a multi-tasker as soon as I roll out of bed.

4)
Did I tell you that Lindsay is part of a sorority? She is such a sorority girl…if you know what that means. She totally LOVES it and that makes me happy!
I stole this pic from her FB-it's from her initiation ceremony. I like to refer to it as her cult initiation. Yeah, that's the kind of Mom I am.

5)

Have a lovely NON lazy weekend. Unless you NEED a lazy weekend, then go for it!

Forrest Gump was correct: Sh*t happens

I'm fairly certain that most of you wake up each morning and have a thought along these lines:
What is happening with Suz and her compost? I mean, she hasn't updated the progress at all.

Well, I'm so sorry it's taken me so long and really, ya'll might want to start focusing on your own lives a bit more than mine.
Ok, I was totally lying. I need to be the center of your attention.
Always.
 Or this happens.
 Just kidding.
kinda.

An update of compost proportions; prepare to be amazed. Or grossed out; it could go either way.
There she sits, just a black weird looking contraption resting near the pool equipment.

But inside…well, this is where the magic happens.
This is beginning to sound like an episode of MTV's Cribs.

I took some out to share with the actual garden. If you listen hard enough, you can hear my worms…they're just doing their worm thing.
It might surprise you, but I love those worms so much. I started to name them all, but hells bells, they don't stop wiggling long enough.

Wait, I think I see Wendy and Wanda worm right there!
If you're not a composting person, you might want to consider it. I'm fairly certain that this and my work to end the manufacturing of Styrofoam will get me a fast pass through the pearly gates.
I'm not one to stand in line like regular people.

What do we compost? Just about everything. Egg shells. Banana peels, veggie/fruit parts, lint, plant cuttings, paper towels, coffee grounds/filters.

The only thing we don't put in there is anything of an actual animal. (meats/fats)
I limit the amount of citrus because my worms can only take so much of the acid.
See, I told you I love those red wigglers. Especially Wendy; she's my fave.

So, are you mesmerized or grossed out?

Willy Nilly Friday-It's Halloween...so wash your hands!

Joining Tanya and Friends--Sharing 5 willy nilly thoughts, quips, pics or whatevers.

1)
I don't want anyone to freak out, but I have some important health news to share.
There is a virus going around called Ebola. Don't flip your lid. But, please, wash your hands as necessary and don't swap bodily fluids with anyone who might be under the weather.
You're welcome.

2) This is a photo of Oil and Water.
Behold: Linds and Lolo dressed up for Halloween many years ago. It's clear to see they are on a different wave length; Miss USA and Miss Army!

3)
We've lived in our house for 17 years and we've never had a trick or treater. Living in a rural area with no sidewalks and a few acres in between houses keeps the kids away.
Lazy azz kids; they won't even walk for candy.

4)
Does anyone else cringe reading face book statuses that are FILLED with spelling and grammatical errors? I mean to say, I'm not perfect, not even close. But I'm shocked to see so many people (college graduates!!) that have a hard time putting a sentence together.

5)
How has life been any fun before the show Modern Family?
In my book, {and that's the only one that matters} it's right up there with Friends and Seinfeld; slap your mama funny.

Are you a Modern Family watcher or is your bladder inadequately able to deal with it?

Wishing you all a safe and germ free weekend!!!
