I love your sissies:) And I really miss mine:( Until last night I had been full of reasons why now is not the smart time for another puppy but today I'm thinking it might be time. Smart or not!
I'm pretty sure that I'm their aunt. Now that I think about it, we even look a little alike. If you need a break, send them over to Aunt Caution the Sissy. I'll take good care of them while we're hiding under the table.
Now, when my son and your daughter get married, feel free to name him Rhett. I'm too much of a sissy to object.
They are so cute! My niece's sheltie is scared to death of thunder too. One time she came in from work on a rainy afternoon, and he had opened the bathroom vanity cabinet, raked out all the shampoo etc., and was up in there trembling!!!!! Can you believe we have snow (a lot) today. It's supposed to snow all day!
ohmygod i LOVE your goggies... i just want to drive down there and kiss them both until they run away from too much lovin.... i jus love boxers as you know and yours are so beautiful! and our bella looks like yours too, although she is a mix.
she also cowers with thunder and high winds... do they swim in the pool? bella wont go near it. we put her in a few times and she gets frantic.
i wanna live with you and your goggies and your pool.... can i? can i? huh? huh?
oh how i love a good thunder storm. i cant wait until spring here so we have them. we still have tons of snow on the ground. yuk... enough already...
if the goggies are scared i will hide under tables with them if think it will help...
My dog is a big sissy as well! He's terrified of thunder, and when someone comes up our driveway he hides behind me until he's sure it's safe;) I would be more understanding if he didn't weigh 95 pounds!!!
I hope some thunder was involved to make him go under the table. Hubby is in Orlando--Big storm rolled thru there this morning, so he was glad his flight home was not until later today. Stay dry.
I am fighting the urge to drop a bunch of f-bombs, since I know you don't like them, but DAY-UM, Girl!!! Your pool area belongs in a resort, not someone's backyard!! It's gorgeous!
Oh my goodness! What DRAMA! Chloe (our dear departed Black Lab) used to go from room to room, licking her LIPS when it would thunder. It was the damndest thing. :)
"Dear Mummy, prease do not refur to us as sissies. We is vewy shmart doggies. We is onry putting to use our speshul training in monsoon safety is all. Oh, and aunti kbl says to eat your phish pirr, is good for your heart. she says hi. BOL!"
Awww, then it's a good thing they're so darn cute!!! I saw you wrote about going into Woolworth's below. I have many fond memories of sitting at the Woolworth's soda fountain for Cherry Cokes. : ) M.L.
Awwww! Marlee is the same way! The next time we have a storm I'll have to take pictures because her favorite place to hide is the closet! I love your boxers :) So cute! And you're right, Cocoa and Marlee do look a lot alike!
Ha ha, them and my mom, she hates rain, especially with thunder and lightening! me...I love it! Oh, and they don't look a bit sissy to me..but they're cute (o:
OH! The wonderful post above, of course you were the light of her life :) Seems to me you have her eyes, do you think that's true? Have a great day Suz...
Hey you. Sending you a big hug on your day of memory and sad reflection. She was lovely. So are you. I see her in you. And she would be so proud of you as you continue to grow into the amazing person you have become!
I love your sissies:) And I really miss mine:( Until last night I had been full of reasons why now is not the smart time for another puppy but today I'm thinking it might be time. Smart or not!
ReplyDeleteThey're not sissies -- they just don't want to get wet! And they are kind enough to stay out of your way.

I am sooooo jealous of your pool!!! But, if a storm was coming, I think I'd hide too. :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute, those sissies!
ReplyDeleteI was in Tampa last week and couldn't believe how damp/chilly it was! Florida is being very bipolar lately!
Awe! They are so cute. JJ doesn't like to go out when it's raining or even when the grass is wet.
ReplyDeletePoor frightened puppies! Your dogs are so cute!
ReplyDeleteIt did look like a bit of a downpour, Suz. No alligators in the road, I hope. XOXO
Have I mentioned before how much I love your pool are? I probably have. I'll say it again: I love it! I'd never leave my house if I lived there.
ReplyDeleteDoggies are funny! And precious. I like to think that they take my sissiness so I can be strong.
How funny! My dogs aren't so much sissies, BUT wet grass does offend their canine sensibilities.
ReplyDeleteIsn't your pool area gorgeous?! I know many people have their pools screened in in FL, but yours is lovely!
They are gorgeous! And is that your pool? Whoever it belongs to it's absolutely amazing!
ReplyDeleteCJ xx

ReplyDeleteHey, don't call 'em sissies...they have big teeth ya know? Cool pool!
ReplyDeleteLove those sissies. They are precious and such beautiful coats.
ReplyDeleteI know this is supposed to be about the dogs, but I think it should be about the pool. I want that pool- fabulous

ReplyDeleteAwww, send those sissies over here and they can comfort Scout as she's hiding behind a chair to get away from the smelly cat!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Read your post above - I'm in tears. So sweet!!!
That looks so inviting--to sit out there and read a book with the rain pounding down.
ReplyDeleteOh, they hate the rain don't they!
