Willy Nilly Friday-I'm a dog watching Ninja!

Joining Tanya for Willy Nilly Friday; sharing 5 randoms, pics or what-have-ya's.

Did you miss me last week?
This time last Friday we were in Austin, TX.
Vacation is fun. Vacation is exhausting.

1)
While on a boat tour I saw this graffiti and thought: ME TOO!
Ninjas wear  black. I wear black.
Ninjas like sharp objects. I like shanking people with sharp objects.

2)
Our flight leaving Houston was delayed several hours and then rerouted due to weather issues.
Not the shortest route from Houston to Fort Myers, but we made it safely.

3)
Getting home at 3am from vacation is the opposite of fun.
I was able to sleep in, but the Coach had an early morning meeting.
Someone around here has to be responsible…so glad it's not me!

4)
Speaking of being responsible. My InLaws are traveling this week and we are dog sitting the gang of Labs. Actually, when we let all the dogs out, it's more of a herd.
Here is a video I sent to her the other night during 'quiet time'
When a certain little *someone* is full of energy and barking his head off, I'll go back to this video and just *sigh*.

5)
Cough*Cough*
Dog hair.
'nuff said!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
Watch out for those hairy sharp-object yielding ninjas!!

He just keeps getting {weirder} older every year!

Yesterday was the Coach's birthday. I don't want to give his age, but next year is a milestone that starts with fif and ends with ty.

This year we celebrated in Austin, TX with our East coast friends Don and Kelly.
The Austinites are proud to be weird. As a matter of fact, they want to Keep It Weird; quite a fitting place for me since I'm a fan of non-boring stuff.

We actually inquired to some locals as to why the people of Austin are weird.
They were offended and threw play-doh at our feet and shouted blobbidy blob blob.

Ok, I just made that up, we didn't meet any violent weirdos.

I'll share some of our trip later....but for now, lets just celebrate this amazing guy who not only puts up with me, but I kinda think he loves me as much as I love him!
Us on a day trip to San Antonio at the River Walk district. No, I didn't have a super big taco for lunch, that's my swing bag under my cardigan, but thanks for noticing!

I hope you're all well and weird.

XOXO

Peeping {weird} Tom

I saw this extraordinary creature peering INTO our front door the other night. I tried to get a good photo, but the darkness/lights were not working in my favor.
Plus, I was alerted to see how dirty my glass was.

Imagine my surprise the next day when I saw he/she/it moved to the other door and was now peeping into the door frame.
Well, maybe he/she/it is a 'special' extraordinary creature; who am I to judge?

Anyhoo….I just thought he/she/it was lovely.

I realized he/she/it might have been trying to get up close and personal with my porch plant bees.

What would you call that? Inter-special interest? Inter-insect romance?
I dunno….my head hurts now from thinking about it.
The Coach and I are off on an adventure this weekend to celebrate the day of his birth, so I'll not be visiting any of you. It's ok, don't cry, I'll be back next week to share.

Oh, you want to know where we're headed?

Well, we're keeping it WEIRD.

I know. I'm always kinda weird.

The in-laws have arrived and are in charge of keeping the fort from falling apart and to make sure no one steals my porch plant bees.

Have a great and weird weekend.

Willy Nilly-Here's your 'sign' you naughty-drinking-thing you.

Joining Tanya and friends-sharing five willy nilly thoughts, pics or whatevs.

1) The girls gave me this sign for my birthday.
They must get their sarcasm from the Coach.

2) Ok, I was being sarcastic. They totally get it from me.

3) Last week I shared with you my deep love/hate for House Of Cards; well, I've finished the second season.
When I finished the last episode I said out loud:
That Francis Underwood is a corrupt,  conniving, deceptive, lying, scheming, Immoral, naughty naughty naughty naughty naughty NAUGHTY man.
Clearly, I was running out of intelligent adjectives, plus I'm a mom…naughty is my favorite word.

4) It's October. I've already planned/booked our company Holiday party and I've scheduled the date for the annual cocktail party we host at our home.
I feel as though I deserve a medal or a glass of wine.

5) Just thinking about Christmas can cause a girl to drink wine.
OK, just thinking about drinking wine also causes a girl to drink wine.

Have a great weekend, but don't do anything I wouldn't do naughty!
