I Really Love Your Peaches.....

.....want to shake your tree....

Happy Friday ya'll!

First I just have to say: I LOVE OCTOBER! I wish I could give it a big ol' hug. Our weather has been glorious....clear skies, light breezes and my face does not melt off while getting the mail!

The Coach and I went to see a living legend last night!!!

Wait, what constitutes a living legend?? I may have to take that back.

Oh, Steve....you rock. OLD GUYS ROCK!!!!

{Mom, I just realized you and Steve are the same age....he could be my baby daddy. oh wait, he could just be my daddy?}

It was only a few years ago that we had another date with Steve.

Inflation who???
The price to see Steve Miller has only gone up $53.00 in 23 years.
I wonder if he remembers us?
Who am I kidding...of course he does.

The show was awesome. our seats were amazing. I know how to work ticket master...I am just saying....we had a wonderful night out!

You may be shocked to know that I have saved most of our concert ticket stubs and they are chronicled in acid free albums by year.

Do you hate me now?

Of course you couldn't really hate me.
I have a disease. It is called ataxophobia.

{fear of disorganization or untidy spaces}

I wonder if there is a medication for my disease?

Oh, yeah, it is called chill.the.heck.out.suz.

I hope everyone has a beautiful and tidy weekend.
Hey, go organize your undie drawer....it will make me feel better!
And remember, it really IS about ME.

One of my fave Steve Miller songs:

XOXOXOXO

On Being Different.

In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different.

Yeah, I totally get Coco.

Everyday I'm Shuffling.

Happy October.

I hate it when people complain about their weight.

**Insert witty yet whiny post about me complaining about my weight and my new fondness of wearing yoga pants 4 to 7 days a week here**

OY... most days lately you will find me in
Black t-shirts and black yoga pants. I have become a lazy and non-musically talented Johnny Cash.

And no, I don't do yoga, so why do I continue to call them yoga pants?

I still hate it when people complain about their weight.
Enough of me and my whining.

Linds had a great night of dancing on Friday night. Some people attend the football games for football. But mostly everyone goes for the band's halftime show. Well, of course all the cool peeps go for the band.

And I am totally cool like that.

Lo had her first college scrimmage game this weekend!!!!

So nice to watch a game without the crazy obnoxious parents screaming!
{While wearing yoga pants}
College ball is a whole new ball game. Yippee!

Go LOLO! Go 99!

I was just kidding on the yoga pants. I only wear them to the grocery store and around the house. And of course, you know when I go to the store, I run into 46 people.

We had a nice weekend. It actually cooled off to a balmy 86 degrees.  I started winterizing the house.
And by winterizing, I deflated the pool rafts.

How about you? yoga pants? dancing? softball? football?

It's Hip To Be Square.

Ya'll cracked me up yesterday with those comments about my bedroom.

If that got you excited, wait till you see my clean/organized junk drawer.
Hold on. Here it is.

Ok, perhaps ONLY I get excited by an organized junk drawer?? Ironically, as I tried to put the drawer back into the cabinet I broke the drawer holder thingy....If only I knew a good cabinet guy. *snicker*

I was reading some fun factoids on Stumble upon the other day. (this is a big time suck, so only venture if you want to waste the rest of your day)

  • Recycling one glass jar saves enough energy to watch TV for 3 hours. Put that in your pipe and don't smoke it. In case you live under a rock, smoking kills, but recycling will get you to the front of the line at the pearly gates!!!

  • In Japan, you can actually purchase a Square watermelon. This adds to my organizing delight. Stackable! I finally found a reason to move to Japan. Besides all the Hello Kitty stuff. Or is that China? Same diff.

  • Antarctica is the only continent without reptiles. And if I found out there was also NO spiders, I would be purchasing winter garb and packing my bags.

  • One in every 4 Americans has appeared on television. I've been on TV once (with Burt Reynolds). Still waiting for my appearance on COPS or the Real Housewives of nowheresville. Whichever comes first.

How many times have you been on TV???

Wishing you all a beautiful, clutter-free, non-smoking, arrest free weekend!!! Or at least make that your goal.
